We are honoured to have as our Patron Baroness Buscombe - Shadow Spokesperson in the Lords on Education and Skills.

Baroness Buscombe was called to the Bar (Inner Temple) in 1977. She went on to become a Legal Advisor to the Dairy Trade Federation before moving to Barclays Bank International in New York as Legal Counsel in their Head Office, advising subsidiary Boards on development projects and worldwide operations. She later moved to London as the Head Office Lawyer and Inspector, where she advised on legal compliance for domestic and US operations and client relationships.

Baroness Buscombe then joined the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising as Assistant Secretary and Legal Advisor to the leading advertising agencies on all major industry developments, including cable and satellite.

In addition to her current responsibilities in the House of Lords, Baroness Buscombe is a Joint Managing Partner of Buscombe and Fiala, and a member of the Advisory Board of Gow & Partners.

Baroness Buscombe is married with twin sons and a daughter. Her personal interests include visiting the theatre, shooting and tennis.
