
You are potentially eligible for membership if you are:

Currently doing paralegal work (full time or
just as part of your duties, and regardless your job title);
or
-
Presently studying on, just about to begin or
recently completed a law course; or
-
A legal educator (a teacher/lecturer/trainer,
etc.); or
- A retired Fellow

To join:
1. Please download the individual
members application form (.PDF format) by
clicking
here. You will need to print it out and post it to us.

and we'll be delighted to send you a hard copy by post.
2. Print out the
form, complete it and send it along with payment and any copies
(no originals
please) of supporting documentation (if necessary) to:

3. Please pay by
cheque made payable to Institute of Paralegals.
4. If your application
is approved by our Membership Committee we will then notify you
and, if
you have been elected as an Associate Paralegal you can begin to
use that title and the
letters A.Inst.Pa after your name. If elected as a Fellow,
you can begin to use your Certified
Paralegal title and the letters F.Inst.Pa after your name.
5. If your application
is declined we shall return your application fee. The fees
are:
